| Welcome to Upper Rush Creek Revitalization |
![]() Improving the water quality of the upper rush CREEK IMPROVES the quality of the entire region | What is URCR?The Upper Rush Creek Revitalization Project is a citizen-led effort to restore clear, safe water for families that use the Upper Rush Creek and the Hocking River Watershed for drinking water and recreational use. Upper Rush Creek Revitalization is a nonprofit organization that is seeking to restore the overall quality to Rush Creek. Little Rush Creek flows south from the reservoir which shares its name, while its larger cadet branch flows out of areas in Perry County suffering from the impact of acid mine drainage. The confluence in Bremen exists as a distressing example of the difference in wildlife diversity between healthy & unhealthy waterways. Mark Sells, Executive Director for the URCR donated his time and money to conduct a Nine-Element Nonpoint Source Implementation Strategy. You can read more about it by downloading this document. | 0%
